“You are, at this moment, standing right in the middle of your own ‘acres of diamonds.”
Earl Nightingal

When we start to turn towards trying to understand and generate abundance – mostly, it is because we are in a perceived state of external lack. We feel like something is missing from our lives. Perhaps money or status, or a comfortable home. We want something that we don’t feel we have access to.
The mistake most make is in thinking that we can climb out of the pit of lack from that vibrational state. We can’t. We would likely be met with great resistance biting us on the butt like a groundhog that would keep us manifesting our true beliefs which are rooted in lack. And what if we could override those beliefs for long enough to manifest what we want? There are those who have certainly manifested great abundance into their lives without paying any particular attention to their limiting beliefs. But could we keep it? Possibly not. Or would we be plagued with deep insecurity about retaining the lifestyle that we have? Robbing us of all the joy and pleasure that abundance can offer.
Firstly, we need to understand what abundance is. It doesn’t always equate to money. But we have been trained in most cultures to believe money is abundance. For me, abundance is having whatever you need whenever you need it. Abundance is experienced in all areas of life, from love to physical assets, from time to inner peace and spaciousness. Abundance is relative. For example, someone living in a remote African tribal village compared to someone living in New York, both parties will likely have vastly different ideas of what their needs are, both physical and non-physical. Abundance to each of them is entirely unique.
When we want to understand and experience abundance in an intentional way, a gratitude practice can be an essential component. But before we get to gratitude there are a few important concepts we need to keep in mind.
1
Mindset
It is impossible not to be abundant.
“Deficit is abundant, where poverty is rich.”
Denisa Rensen
This quote perfectly illustrates how we are always in abundance regardless of what our perception initially tells us. When we have a belief that we lack something we are abundant in lack. How abundant in lack can you be? Or have you been? What level of abundance in lack did you need to get to before you wanted to experience something different?
Abundance is in every human (and non-human) experience that is being had. Every breath you breathe, physical resources, love and compassion everything is in abundance. There is an endless supply if we are able to perceive it. As humans we have everything we could possibly need to survive and thrive.
Abundance is also beyond what we know as the human or Earth experience. As humans it seems that we are living a very limited linear experience. Each moment is seen as a continuation from the last and you have one chance, one way of expressing or existing in that moment. That is both true and untrue. Every potentiality already exists. Creation is infinite. Every way you could have potentially turned your head in every possible moment already exists. All of these infinite possibilities are already being witnessed. So while yes, every moment is unique, it is also true that there are infinite moments of expression for each potential moment.
In one of those moments, you have everything you could possibly be desiring right now. In another you have none of it. Because every possibility already exists, you do not need to create anything you want, you simply need to see it. Turn your attention to the frequency that sees that potential scene. Manifestation is a misleading word, it suggests bringing something to you from over there somewhere. That is not what is happening. You are already there, what is more accurate is that you are tuning your frequency into what you want to see.
So, the first important concept to understand is that you are already abundant. That possibility already exists and exists here and now. You already have everything you could ever possibly have conjured up in your finite mind and the infinite mind of all. So don’t worry there is nothing for you to create. No abundance to manifest out of thin air. It is already there. It is already yours.

How reality works
How to see your abundance?
“Your entire life only happens in this moment. The present moment is life itself”.
Eckhart Tolle
We have all probably heard that there is no past or future, there is only the present moment. But often our understanding is superficial in nature. We feel that yes there is only the now, we understand the concept, it makes sense. But our brain still notices past memories and makes future projections that we spend most of our time in. We may get a glimpse of a state of present momentness but without cultivation of awareness it is unusual for it to be most people’s dominant state (but it is possible for sure). The statement – there is only the present moment, is not only 100% true but goes much deeper than we realise. We still assume that we are on a linear timeline, we are born, live a life and then die, as mentioned above this is not true, albeit it appears that way.
Reality is both a series of moments, like thoughts, that are drawn together by a similar resonance between them and seemingly create a timeline of events, and also it is true that each of those moments are simultaneously happening at the same time in isolation of any other. Each moment is a complete experience. A unique, individuated moment of creation. A shape of its own that wants to be experienced and known in its entirety for itself.
These moments are linked by the resonance between them so you could be living in an apartment in London in one and then on a beach in Barbados sipping margaritas as a digital nomad in the next. Or it could be a very similar scene. You will likely never truly know because each moment contains the memories for that moment. You live and die multiple times in multiple ways. Not in the order of what appears to be your life. You can think of it like this. If you have a thought of an elephant, you do not need to think of the whole of the elephant’s life before you have another thought of a kangaroo or what you are going to have for dinner tonight. You can think of what seems like totally unrelated thoughts one after the other. They seem unrelated but they are connected by your particular frequency at that time. This is because what joins and glues the moments together is the frequency at the end of the moment. Because there are infinite possibilities for each moment that co-exist, that is the deciding factor of what comes next. Frequency. Although, there is also no next as we understand next to be.
Each moment is experienced by the Experiencer. There are various ways that the Experiencer is referred to, but I will call it the Experiencer. YOU are the Experiencer, having an experience as a human having an experience. You as you know yourself, as the human, are the experience. You are what you perceive to be reality outside of you. But you are it. This may seem daunting at first but when you begin to know it to be true it is liberation.
This is great news when it comes to seeing and experiencing abundance in your life. What this means are three things. Firstly, as the Experiencer all possible experiences are available for you to see.
Secondly, as the experience, (the human you), you have no past or future, only each moment. YOU are each of those moments in creation. It is YOU that is being experienced. And because each moment is completely unique, all of those limiting beliefs you have in that moment are literally only for that moment. That does not mean of course that we bypass any experience we are having or invalidate and gaslight ourselves. We feel all of our experience, emotions, sensations, feelings etc. What is does mean is that you know that while there is an experience going on, it does not need to be and is not in every moment of yours, which are infinite. You can have an entirely different experience, completely removed from what has been known to you as the past, even the past that was the preceding second. Nothing cannot be entirely different in the next moment.
Thirdly, as the frequency you emit changes, you will resonate with a different moment. Thus, you can change your next moment by changing your frequency to match what is desired next. We can change our frequency through many different systems and methods. Gratitude journaling is a very powerful one.

What gets in the way of changing frequency?
Removing resistance.
It should all be so easy right? Well, it can be but sometimes, bringing into our reality what we believe is our abundance can feel unattainable. Why is that?
Even though each moment is a single moment in creation, it still contains memories. These memories can be shared across and are similar to those in other moments. Therefore, there can be memories that seem to relate to other moments. These memories hold our subconscious conditioned programs which inform us what we believe about ourselves in relation to the world. It is these beliefs that can hold us up. This includes not only beliefs such as I do not deserve money for example, but also includes unprocessed stress energy within our nervous system. How our body should function is also a memory. For example, not having the learnt skill to regulate our nervous system and process the events of life, leading to a state of feeling unsafe and finding it difficult to remain in the present moment.
There are multiple techniques to work with all of this, but what is an essential component, but doesn’t need to be felt or known or embodied in every moment, is that even those these memories feel like that are lasting, they are not. They are exclusively for that moment. Meaning if you can keep this in the back of your mind you will be able to detach from the content of that moment, knowing it is not you. It is as fleeting as this moment.
That being said, we want to honor the moment. We do not want to turn away from it. We simply want to remember, as much as is possible in that moment, that the content being experienced is not permanent. To honor the moment we need to be in it. If you feel sad, that’s ok. Anger is fine. We do not need to be in a ‘happy’ state to raise our vibration. We need to be in an authentic state to raise our vibration. Happiness is always there and is revealed when what obscures it moves away.
Studies show that the most powerful frequency the human body can emit is “authenticity.”
The Spane Scale of Emotion, 25,000 participants.
Being with your bodily sensations is key, it is what your direct experience of that moment is. The emotions, thoughts, feelings and behaviours are an interpretation of those sensations. Be with them all. Know they are not you, they are the experience of the Experiencer in that moment. Remember, you are the Experiencer. The Experiencer created that moment to experience it. Bypassing or denying the experience that is there in that moment is the best way to keep seeing similar moments. Without judgement or shame or pressure for something else to be experienced, own the experience that is unfolding through you as the experience.
If we can clearly see what the content of our memories are, we can start to work on shifting them. However, they are often hidden within the experience, leaving us unaware of what is truly holding us back. An effective and gentle way to reveal this content is through deciding what we want and then creating affirmations and assumptions about that. When we do this, we will notice that memories arise in the form of sensations, emotions, thoughts, behaviors and feelings that oppose what we want. For example when affirming or assuming, “I have $1,000,000 in my bank account”, you may experience a sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach, or a thought that says that’s not true, then another that says, you could never have that money, then an image of your dad telling you you’re good for nothing, perhaps a decision to get up and stop the affirming. This is all content that tells you what is being held in your memories. You can then work towards shifting them. Choosing a moment with different content cannot come about if you remain in the vibration of the old content. Affirming or assuming new content is important. But equally important is not reinforcing the old memories.

Gratitude
Powerful, gentle, effective
Gratitude is both the cake and the icing on the cake. It not only get’s you the abundance you wish to see in your experience but also tells you that you are there.
Gratitude is about noticing. Noticing is the key to shifting your frequency. What is there in your experience? What is really there? Radical acceptance of what is in your experience without judgement means you see what is really being presented to you, not masking or hiding parts of your experience in the shadows. You cannot change what you cannot or are unwilling to see.
A gratitude practice not only helps you to see clearly and brings you into the present moment, it also elicits a deep sense of gratitude for what is there, and you find you begin to fall in love with everything. Realising that everything is creation. There is not judgment on its worth of being present in your experience, not preference for anything different in that moment. You are simply grateful, full stop. When you feel this way with some consistency you know you have reached your destination. Because the love you feel through gratitude is the delight you feel as the Experiencer, experiencing creation in all of its facets. It’s love has no discrimination.
It is from this place of gratitude as our state of being, that we can start to choose our reality. Our next moment. This is the state of frequency that takes you out of the domain of only the experience (the human) and into the realm of the Experiencer. And so who is choosing? You as the Experiencer. And you as the Experiencer is choosing YOU as the human experience. When you as the human experience seems to be choosing you will choose from your limited conditioned mind. Your subconscious program. When you choose as the Experiencer you choose from the infinite mind. That is when you start to notice your imagination guiding you towards specific actions or interests that you didn’t previously feel drawn to. What you need starts to arise in your experience like magic, just like that… You are in the mind of the Experiencer.
The journey of consistent gratitude journaling takes you from the experienced to the Experiencer. When we engage in a practice of gratitude we are changing our frequency at the end of that single moment. I looked out and saw something to be grateful for and now my frequency rose, even fractionally. So now I will be moving to a next moment that is more in line with that frequency.
The need to affirm or assume falls back and we simply allow. It just starts to come through us. We are grateful because we know that we already have it. We have the expectation that all is good. All is God.
Even when we are in “high” frequency and suddenly drop to a “lower” frequency and bring in a less desired outcome, it doesn’t really matter at all. With gratitude, because we are in the present moment, because we are glad for every experience, we are in a state of radical acceptance, and we understand that reality is not linear and it never ends. Our vibration raises again, once that moment is complete. You have infinite moments to explore. In fact, you as the human, as the experience will be explored infinitely. No death, no end, just endless possibility. That alone is the definition of abundance.
If tasting the infinity of abundance sounds like something for you, try gratitude journaling.
